Colours - Pink
Decorated Vintage Bag
I bought the bag on Vinted, lovely slightly faded black velvet. Tried a few variations on the design until i was happy with this one.
I have attached 234 pink and gold charms all over the bag, with black in the charms around the top of the bag. The existing lining was completely shredded, so I replaced it with a pink woven satiny fabric, which used to be curtains at my parents house. Each bag is a totally unique one-off item.
Bag size : length 16cms/6.5ins, width 19cms/7.5ins. Finished size : length 44cms/16ins, width 21cms/9.5ins
Straps : 92cms/36ins and 64cm/295ins, short one is vintage from another bag, long new brass from stock. New clasps.
I make the charms of layers of paper glued together, cut into shapes and highly hand decorated on both sides with gold or silver leaf and paints, finished with coats of waterproof varnish so they are fine if you get caught in the rain!
